Engr. Theophilus Chukwuemeka Madu

Theophilus Chukwuemeka Madu graduated with a First Class honors degree in Mechanical Engineering. He started his working career in Solar Energy Center, University of Nigeria, Nsukka as a Graduate Assistant. He moved to NEPA as a Pupil Engineer and rose to Senior Mechanical Engineer at Egbin Thermal Station, Lagos.

He later joined Shell Nigeria where he worked for 23 years in different capacities in Warri, Port Harcourt and Lagos including a 4 year posting to the Head Office in The Hague, The Netherlands. In Shell he attended many technical and management courses with special training in Operational Safety. On leaving Shell, he joined an indigenous Oil Company, Neconde Energy Ltd, Lagos as the Drilling and Well Engineering manager to set up the Drilling department for oil exploration and production. He is currently working as a Consultant Drilling Engineer for different indigenous oil companies on contract basis.

He is a member of Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE and a COREN Registered Engineer
